About Venus Flytrap, 5" Tall Bulb, Fly Trap Carnivorous
The Venus Fly Trap has been around for centuries and remains a favorite among carnivores and vegetarians alike! But they can be quite fussy to grow. We offer a novel plant product that thrives by itself. You will receive a seed grown Venus Fly Trap of the large claw variety, known scientifically as Dionaea muscipula B52 x B52. Your claw can grow up to 2 inches in size! Note: We sell 2 different Venus Fly Trap terrariums. This terrarium is significantly larger. Once the Fly Trap grows too large for the container (usually takes 4-6 months), you can open the lid, take it out using tweezers, and plant it in sphagnum moss following traditional care. Complete instructions: Take your plant out of the box. DO NOT remove the lid. Set it on a table and avoid sunlight or direct light sources that heat up the terrarium (fluorescent or LED is fine). Enjoy your plant for months, up to a year, without worrying about maintenance, bugs, or spills! That’s all there is to it!
