About Vanguard ALTA Video Tripod Head, Gray
The ALTA PH-114V is a lightweight video head with fluid action movements that incorporates an Arce-type quick release system and has an ergonomic long handle for smooth pans and tilts. Four lock/unlock knobs are positioned ergonomically to provide easy access for setting up the pan bar, locking your gear securely, and providing adjustments for pans and tilts. The Arce-type quick release plate qs-61 is 80mm/3.2 inches long, has 2 screws (1 static, 1 sliding), and allows for gear to be positioned to more forward or back on the video head easily allowing you to balance gear on the top of the tripod. The second screw acts like an anti-twist pin. The built-in rosettes along either side of the head allow for mounting of one pan bar or if desired A second pan bar can be added for additional control.
