The UVIA stud finder can be used to detect wood studs, metal and live AC wires so that users can do wall drilling or digging safely. The stud finder can work on different wall surfaces, such as lath, wallpaper，wood flooring, acoustic ceiling, painted walls, etc. 4 different scanning modes: Stud Scan - Detects and scans for the center of wood and metal studs up to 3/4 inches or 19mm deep Deep Mode - Detects and scans for the center of wood and metal studs up to 1 1/2 inches or 38mm deep Metal Scan - Detects and scans for metal up to 2 1/4 inches or 60mm deep AC Scan - Detects and scans live AC wires up to 2 inches or 51mm deep Package list: 1x Stud scanner 1x 9V battery 1x User manual How to use it? ◆There are two buttons on the stud finder. One is on the left side of the scanner and the other one is on the middle body of the device. ◆Put the 9V battery into the device ◆Long press the left button to open it, and loose your finger to turn off it. ◆Choose the modes you want to use by using the middle body button. ◆It is easy to operate and quickly find what you want to detect. Notice: ◆ Hold the stud detector correctly and slowly move in one direction for the best scan results. ◆Avoid placing the other hand or any other part of the body on the surface being scanned, which can interfere with the performance of the scanner. ◆ Make sure the surface you are scanning is flat and completely dry. ◆ Be careful when working near the wires and always turn off the power.
