VitaFlex Hoods are a new necessity during any Dirty Job for primary protection. For the cost of a dust mask, the VitaFlex hood covers the entire scalp, face, and neck. It is an innovative head cover 100% made in USA from globally patented Latex-free elastic nonwovens. It significantly improves worker's comfort, safety, and job efficiency. The Vitaflex Hoods are replacing the knitted Spray Socks by exhibiting superior barrier functionality and cost saving. The knitted spray sock and balaclava allow drips to penetrate through them. Conversely, the triple-layer fiberweb structure of the VitaFlex hood has ultrafine openings and provides a thin, yet dense "breathable barrier" effectively blocking Dust, Dirt, Soot, Debris, Grease, Mud, Liquid Splashes, and Paint or Chemical Overspray. It is designed to be worn over a face mask and goggles or under a respirator. Goggles with anti-fog lens are recommended. It also can be worn over the knitted balaclava to block dirt or wind penetration or under a helmet as a liner. If needed, multiple hoods can be layered to achieve the desired effectiveness.
