Don't fall for "reclaimed look" shelves that are just beat up and poorly stained pine from Home Depot! These are the real deal, made from cut down barn wood rafters!! We take a great deal of pride in the authenticity of our shelves and their history. This set of (2) floating shelves (slide-on brackets and mounting hardware included) are made from genuine reclaimed barn wood and will be the perfect accent on your wall! Their character is all natural from decades as rafters in chicken barns throughout Lancaster County, PA. As these are 100% genuine reclaimed barn rafters, you may notice minimal variations in the shade. We do not stain the ends of the "natural" shelves. Raw cut ends. All saw, nail and other distressed markings are naturally occurring and may vary piece to piece. There are (2) 1/8" notches out of the bottom of the back where the brackets attach. This allows the shelves to sit flush against the wall. The notches are not visible when the shelves are hung.
