About United Scientific Stainless Steel Hooked Weight Set
These stainless steel weights are designed for exercises and experiments in weighing and measuring. Hooked weights (also called hanging weights) can be used with balances, scales, or with a spring or pulley system to demonstrate basic principles of physics, including exercises demonstrating the laws of friction, tension, and acceleration. This 9 piece set includes 1 each of 5g, 10g, 50g, 100g, 500g, and 2 each of 20g and 200g weights. Each weight is made of high quality stainless steel and is individually calibrated. A plastic storage block is included to help keep the weights clean, organized, and protect them from damage.
