About Unbreakable Plastic-Coated N52 Neodymium Disc

Neodymium magnets are the strongest magnets in the world but they are also very fragile. With the Revitalizaire neodymium magnets you no longer have to sacrifice durability for strength. These permanent disc magnets have a thick and hard Polypropylene (plastic) outermost coating that ensures they will not break or chip under the most extreme conditions. The magnets have an interior Nickel-Copper-Nickel layer that provides additional structural integrity as well as corrosion resistance. The 1/8-inch thickness provides rigidity that matches the magnetic strength. With a strength rating of N52, these magnets are the most powerful magnets in the world. With a 12 pound pulling force for each magnet, they are more than strong enough to handle most applications. ....Okay they are obviously not actually indestructible, however they will not break under any regular usage. If you actually TRY to smash them, then they are merely mortal like the rest of us. They are able to withstand great falls, magnet collisions and hammer strikes. Specifications Magnet Size: 1.3 inch (33 mm) diameter, 1/8 inch (3.175 mm) thickness. Magnet Size With Polypropylene Coating: 1.38 inch (35 mm) diameter, .205 inch (5.175 mm) thickness. Materials: Neodymium, Iron, Boron, Polypropylene, Nickel, Copper Strength: 12 pounds, 1,366 Gauss. Pulling force is for a perfect interface with a flat steel surface. Other objects and shapes will result in a decreased pulling force. Magnets will exert a force on each other from over 2 inches away. Magnetization: Axially magnetized, with N and S poles on flat surfaces. Polypropylene Coating: .04 inches (1 mm) Nickel-Copper-Nickel Coating: 15 - 30 um
