This FDA-approved gastric ulcer medication inhibits acid production in a horse's stomach, reducing the incidence or re-occurrence of ulcers in horses most at risk. These horses include those under stress, training, competition, travel or limited turnout. Left untreated, ulcers in horses can lead to poor performance or even death. UlcerGard® is easy to administer with the convenient prepackaged paste tube. This product is the only one approved for both treatment and prevention of equine stomach ulcers. Each tube contains 4 daily doses for a horse weighing 600 to 1200 lbs.
