Doll Face Step back in time to the golden age of classic comedy musicals. Vivian Blaine plays the Burlesque Queen, Doll Face. She goes for an audition on Broadway and doesn’t get the part. They say she’s not refined. Her manager decides she needs a better image and has her autobiography written by a ghost writer. That’s where it all starts to get out of hand! A great film with some great Hollywood stars and an early appearance of Perry Como! Dreaming Outloud Step back in time to the golden age of classic Hollywood vintage comedy. Lum and Abner's General Store in Pineridge, Arkansas is where little Alice, the niece of the richest man in town, works as a post-mistress. She only has eyes for Kenneth, the son of the local doctor. She wants to marry him, but her evil aunt is trying to stop it. Kenneth is not earning enough money to support them both. Follow on one madcap scene after another and you have classic Lum and Abner, America’s biggest radio stars of the day, in one of their debut films. Pure class.
