About Trumpeter Russian SA-8 Gecko Model Kit
The 9K33 Osa is a highly mobile, low-altitude, short-range tactical surface-to-air missile system. Its NATO reporting name is SA-8 Gecko and its export version name is Romb. The SA-8 was the first mobile air defense missile system incorporating its own engagement radars on a single vehicle. Kit features one piece lower hull, engraved surface detail on upper hull with rivets, separate hatch, detailed engraved driver's interior and cabin interior, clear injection-molded window glazing and lights, detailed running gear, rubber tires and rims, detailed missile system, missile launchers and radar (TELAR), filigree exterior and interior fittings, wire cable, separately molded on-vehicle equipment and photoetch for (grilles, radar screen, brackets and more).
