Tripp Lite's HDMI v1.3 Active Extender Cable solves the problem of running HDMI cables longer than the maximum recommended distance of 5 meters (15-Feet). When used with Tripp Lite's P568-050 or P568-100 (50-Feet and 100-Feet HDMI cables) you're assured of a fully regenerated HDMI signal traveling to your HDTV. The Active Chip in the adapter means that no external AC Adapter is required. Simply plug the 50-Feet or 100-Feet cable into your HD Video Source (such as a DVR, DVD player, cable box or satellite receiver), plug the other end of the cable into the female end of the HDMI Active Extender Cable and plug the male end of the HDMI Active Extender Cable into your HDTV. The result is a crystal clear digital image over a length once not even imagined. The B123-001 is both HDMI v1.3 and HDCP compliant, and comes with a Tripp Lite. 3-year limited warranty
