Review Trip Trap Trouble: A story about the Three Billy Goats Gruff and Gratitude (Fairytale Fraud) by Katie Pye is a children's illustrated story, turning the original tale on its ear. We've all heard the expression "The Grass is Always Greener on the Other Side". The story plays into the concept of being grateful for what you have. It allows parents to open a discussion (it even has discussion points in the back of the book) in a positive way. The story is written in clever, humorous rhyme and the artwork is excellent. Trip Trap Trouble by Katie Pye is a good recommendation for children ages 4 and up, and perhaps older ones who struggle with gratitude. - 5-star review. Bruce Arrington from Reader's Favorite. This is the second in the Fairytale Fraud books that we read and we're big fans. My kids (2 and 4) loved learning about the plight of the poor, misunderstood troll and the irritating goats who kept crossing over the bridge in search of greener grass. The illustrations are so well done and the rhyming story is delightful. We highly recommend it! - Whitney B. As a teacher, I'm always looking for stories that I will enjoy as much as the children will and this twist on the Billy Goats Gruff hit the nail on the head. The illustrations are fun and pair well with the authors rhythm and rhyme! Plus, it is a great conversation piece for social emotional learning. Loved it! - Victoria W.  The concept behind this book (and the others by this author) are simply genius. This one is our favorite so far. My son was giggling as I read it and loved chatting about the questions afterward. The artwork is gorgeous and it was a blast to read out loud. - Aime M.   "What a great story to start discussions about gratitude. The Behind the Scenes prompts are fantastic. A fun story to share as a family!" - Teacher and mother of 2 From the Author T ested on children, parents, teachers, librarians, and even psychologists, the Fairytale Fraud series is finally launching. Enjoy! From the Back Cover "That grass must be tasted, not wasted I say. I've seen it, I want it. Let's set out today!" In a hilarious twist of 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff', the three goats trip trap over the bridge in search of the greenest grass. Unsurprisingly, the troll's patience starts wearing thin.
