About Treeworks Chimes TRE314 Made In USA Damper
The TRE314 Chime Damper Attachment for Single Row Bar Chimes is the perfect tool to add to any percussionist’s setup. By making it possible to fully mute the sound of your chimes, you’ll be able to fully explore the softer dynamics in your performance. This damper requires a one-time construction process of screwing the top mount into your chime’s mantle to secure the dampening bar mechanism in place. Because this piece has three slots evenly spaced across the top mount in which to secure the screws, it is possible to use this damper for smaller models like the TRE417 or TRE23. Once you’re done with a performance, simply loosen the side knobs, secure the dampening rod against the bars, and load the attached damper/chime combination into your favorite chime bag with no break down or assembly required. This damper will fit in our LG24, TREXL, and TRE51 chime bags.
