TRD Door Stabilizer Set - Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ The TRD Door Stabilizer kit makes a stronger/rigid closure with the door and thus converts it to a stiffening object. Once the door has been closed, it slides a spring-loaded metal section behind the lock and grabs against a teflon-like plastic part on the door itself. This pushes the door slightly against its hinges and further stiffens up the chassis. The result is a better and more direct steering feel though the corners. It's a simple upgrade with great benefits in the end.
