It may not seem like it but there is a lot that goes into goggle lens design. That is why we at Traverse took our time to go over, in excruciating detail, all aspects of designing our virgata ski and snowboard lenses, and the technology involved with them. We made sure to provide you, the rider, with 100% UV400 and 18-43% vlt protection that Shield your eyes from any harmful UVA and UVB radiation Caused by the suns reflection off the snow. The next step was providing an uncompromised view of your surrounding by incorporating a spherical lenses design to provide outstanding peripheral vision. Then came time to look inward, or to be more precise, in-between our stratus anti fog/scratch dual lens technology. Our stratus technology utilizes 6 built in lens vents, created exclusively for the virgata goggles, to create a thermal layer of preventive lens fogging air, while protecting from any accidental scratches that may occur. We top everything off by utilizing our Smoke lens tint to provide the rider with vibrant vision, free of color distortion with outstanding protection from the sun's glare during brighter light days. As you can see, every detail of design was chosen for a precise and premeditated purpose. Or in other terms, we have a very technical method to our snow sport madness.
