Gregg "viz" visintainer is an extreme doodle artist whose unique artwork contains hidden pictures, words, and messages. A self-taught artist from San Jose, CA, viz never thought he could pursue art as a career until he was 24. By age 29, he had worked with element skateboards, volcom, DC shoes, skinit, Grateful Dead, falken tires, Disney, and many others. Viz art ink gallery opened in January of 2013 in Carlsbad, CA, and features viz's own art as well as over 20 different local artists. Viz's goal is to share his art and story with as many people as possible; he speaks at different events and schools throughout the West coast to motivate and inspire the youth. He hopes to travel the world and leave his mark everywhere he goes. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
