About Tiganeasca
Tiganeasca is made up of Yiddish and Gypsy melodies blended withcontemporary sounds, and bears the special stamp of some new arrivalsamong the musicians, which makes for a much fuller, richer sound. The original Yeux Noirs group now includes Julien Herné and EliseBlanchard on bass guitar, Dario Ivkovic on Serbian accordion, andVincent Peirani on jazz accordion. Exceptional guest appearances include Klezmer clarinetist YuriSchraibman, guitarist Tomas Gubitsch (Astor Piazzolla), andpercussionist Thomas Ostrowiecki, plus a remix from Smadj.
