The stainless-steel stem of the thermometer is 11.4" long and has a diameter of 0.13". The handle of the thermometer is 3" long with a diameter of 0.5", with an LCD display with 0.4"-high digits for increased visibility. The thermometer is traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology standards, indicating that it is calibrated to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025 levels.
