Precision-made for uniformity. Pestle shaft is 178mm long with 4mm diameter. Grinding vessel is a round bottom tube with 2mm wall thickness, a chamber of precision bore tubing and a top reservoir with a pouring spout; unground walls are completely transparent. Pestle is rounded. Consists of piston-type PTFE pestle with stainless steel shaft and replaceable grinding vessel of borosilicate glass. Eliminates ground glass from homogenate; PTFE minimizes heat generated in use. Completely autoclavable. Precisely controlled grinding clearance.
