Lift up the mop/ broom handles before pulling them out would save your efforts to release the handles. Pull down the handles a bit after being hung into the friction grips would prevent them from sliding down. Attention: The mop holder could be mounted to various flat wall and surface that could bear its weight when hung something over. It could be mounted to the wooden door which is thick than the length of the screws we offered, measure it before mount it up would avoid some unexpected problem. Please be careful if you want to install it in the wall faced with tiles since the tiles might be cracked up when you drill the holes on the wall.
