The Thermo Scientific Orion 9678BNWP refillable combination oxidation reduction potential (ORP) electrode measures dissolved oxygen in aqueous solutions to determine their contaminant levels and their ability to act as oxidizing or reducing agents. It has a flushable junction that expels contents by pressing on the cap, preventing clogs and contamination. This combination electrode contains both the measuring half-cell and the reference half-cell to minimize electrostatic interference and provide consistent readings. The electrode has a platinum band sensor for use in oxidizing reactions (above 500mV) found in pools, spas, and municipal drinking water, and in other water testing applications. It has a durable, impact-resistant epoxy body that is refillable, allowing the filling solution composition to be adjusted to suit the sample requirements (electrolyte reference solution sold separately). The electrode operates in temperatures ranging from 0 to 90 degrees C (32 to 194 degrees F). It is 13mm in diameter and 110mm long, and it has a 1m cable with a waterproof Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) connector for attaching to meters with a BNC connection.
