The Thermo Scientific Orion electrode extension cable adds 15 feet to electrode cables for hard-to-reach applications and an increased range for benchtop meters. It is available in models with a variety of connector types for compatibility with different electrode connections, such as automatic temperature compensation (ATC) probes, electrodes with Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) connectors, and reference electrodes with pin tip connectors. An electrode, also called a sensor or probe, is an instrument used with a meter to test and measure parameters of a substance. Electrodes are commonly used by researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists in a wide variety of industries, such as aquaculture, agriculture, chemistry, food and beverage, wine-making and water-testing, and for scientific applications. An electrode can be used with a datalogger to assist in temperature measurement.
