“These things and greater you shall do…” This promise from Jesus was not just directed at the famous pastors behind the pulpit or record-breaking worship leaders behind a microphone. It is not contained by the four walls of the church nor is it limited to the ones who wear the best suits and have the greatest theological degrees. We have over-complicated the power of God. Jesus did not choose the simplest and most unlikely people to be His twelve apostles by accident. It was intentional. He was making a point when He passed on His power to the most unassuming, unqualified, untrained, uncomplicated, individuals He could find. And He is still doing it today. He is looking for the simple men and women to walk in His power in every aspect of their lives! As you read The Simple Power of God, you will see that the promise Jesus made was meant for you!
