The Holy Spirit is a living presence-a person-and as such must be experienced, not neglected, within the church and the individual believer. The crucial role of the Spirit in Paul's life, thinking and theology was always that of the personal presence of God. As a Christian, a believing follower of Christ, the Spirit is the empowering presence experienced in our lives as we await the perfect ending of the Kingdom of God.
