About The One Percent
A twelve-song collection of urban contemporary songs of faith and inspiration that boasts a sophisticated yet down home swagger that appeals to the young and the mature. The project features the GoGo flavor of 'Victory' and the Caribbean cool of 'Stand By Me.' In between, there are heart-wrenching ballads such as 'Turning Away' and 'I Put You First.' The set also features majestic praise and worship tunes such as 'Expect You Now' and the epic medley 'Show Me Your Glory/Set A Fire.' The album closes with the traditional-styled modern day hymn, 'Just As We Are.' Bryan Andrew Wilson rose to fame within the gospel world as a child prodigy with his spine-tingling rendition of 'His Eye is on the Sparrow' with The Mississippi Children's Choir in 1994 when he was eleven years old. He went on to record Dove and Stellar Award nominated CDs for Malaco Records before taking time off for college at Claflin University and Princeton Theological Seminary. Since 2008, Wilson has recorded various well-received independent CD projects and has taken up songwriting. Also an evangelizing preacher, Wilson speaks and conducts dozens of ministry convocations and events around the USA each year
