New York Times bestselling author Gail Carriger, writing as G. L. Carriger, brings you this charming gay romance featuring a gentle giant with a trampled heart and a man desperate to escape his past. The San Andreas Shifter stories contain bad language, dirty deeds, and outright admiration for the Bay Area. Not for the faint of heart or tongue. The San Andreas Shifter books stand alone and do not have to be read in any particular order. But if you're a stickler this book is preceded by Bryan & Max's story, The Sumage Solution. It's about finding your boundaries in a relationship and staying within those boundaries." ~ Tiny Navajo Reads "Although the book explores some weighty storylines, such as why Isaac has been hiding from werewolves for so long and Tank's inability to see his worth to the pack, there's plenty of humor and romance to balance them out." ~ Rally the Readers "... her protagonists are wonderfully written. They have layers and flaws-some not so obvious on first or second inspection-and grow throughout the book in the way all good characters should." ~ Love Bytes ( The Sumage Solution) "Carriger manages to keep things fresh and progressive in not only the contemporary urban landscape but in the diversity, humor and warmth she uses to complement some of the weightier elements..." ~ The Novel Approach ( The Sumage Solution) "I don't want to reveal too much of the plot, because it's fantastic and so very different, but I want to mention that it's got the same fast-paced, witty movement as all the other books I've read by the author. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough." ~ V's Reads ( The Sumage Solution) From the Author Dearest Gentle Reader, Isaac, the main character in this book, is a bartender. Thus the meet cute and various other scenes in this book all occur inside a club named Saucebox which caters to shifters. Oh did I have fun creating drinks for different shifter species. Here's an example of a few that ended up actually appearing in The Omega Objection. Kitsune: Omnivore Special. Hot sake mixed with tuna water and wheat grass. Mermaids: When they aren't doing shots of high quality garum, they like Pearl of the Sea cocktails. Rum, anchovy syrup, clam juice, finished with a splash of Worcestershire sauce and a pickled onion wrapped in nori for garnish. I know they sound gross to humans, but we aren't the target demo. Unless, of course, they sound good to you, in which case you might wanna look into your ancestry. Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy Isaac, his bar, and his adorable romance with Tank, this one is also an audiobook read by
