Witnessing his father’s tragic death hardens high school graduate Nicholas Anselmo and starts him on a journey from innocence to addiction. He loses his faith gains a demon and heads on a rock and roll ride spiraling into the sins of big city kitchens in 1980’s Los Angeles. Back in New York his autistic sister Trisha who speaks to angels has summoned help. Messengers appear as bikers and try to guide him. But there's two things they can't interfere with, his will to choose, and the evil that comes with his choices. They can't protect him from himself. Chef, drugs, and rock and roll, can sum up this young man’s journey as he loses heart and goes through hell to get it back again.
