About The Honey Pot Corner: Fostering Mindfulness And
I believe we all have “honey pots” in our hearts that are filled every day. Unfortunately, we ignore the mundane fillings and look for explosive gushes of honey as the only signs of joy or triggers to express our happiness. Why? Because of how we view ourselves, others, and the world around us. We have become distracted by blinders that do not allow us to appreciate the simplicity and beauty in being and joyfully interacting with the world. Through The Honey Pot Corner, I come alongside you with stories that I hope highlight some of our blinders in ways that trigger introspection and reflection about who we are individually andcollectively as human beings. My messages are not divinely or scientifically inspired but are shaped by realities that are so commonplace we mistake them for what truly is. I end each story with a quote that succinctly summarizes an outlook that supports and fosters honey pots. I hope this Corner awakens you to your blinders and allows you to taste the sweetness in being. At the very least, I hope it adds a few drops of honey to your pot. My wish is that you pause and taste the honey in the messages, fill up, and bathe your heart in its sweetness. When you leave, take some with you and fill other honey pots. I hope you always have some honey for yourself and others. Let's make the world a little sweeter!
