The BEST book St. Louis de Montfort said he ever read about devotion to Mary…and what it does for you Imagine this. You’ve practiced devotion to Mary for years. And although no one – without a special revelation from God – can know absolutely if they’re going to heaven, they’re reasonably sure their devotion to Mary will get them there. But, on appearing before the judgment seat of Christ, instead of hearing Jesus say… “Come, blessed of My Father, possess the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” (Mt. 25:34), they hear Jesus say… “Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels” (Mt. 25:41). St. Louis de Montfort insists that this happens to more people than you might imagine. Here’s his warning… “There are at this time, more than ever, false devotions to our Blessed Lady which it is easy to mistake for true ones. The devil, like a counterfeiter, and a subtle and experienced deceiver, has already deceived and destroyed so many souls by a false devotion to the Blessed Virgin, that he makes a daily use of his diabolical experience to plunge many others by this same way into everlasting perdition” (“True Devotion to Mary”, #90). It seems that even most priests aren’t aware of this. And although God says… “For the lips of the priest shall keep knowledge, and instruction is to be sought from his mouth, because he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts” (Mal. 2:7)… How many times have you heard a sermon warning you about a false devotion to Mary? Jesus was very clear… “How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leads to life: and few there are that find it!” (Mt. 7:14) Fortunately, the Holy Spirit revealed a secret to St. Louis de Montfort which helps you practice a true devotion to Mary, so you can become one of the few who finds the way to life. Here’s St. Louis again… “Predestinate soul, here is a secret the Most High has taught me, which I have not been able to find in any book, old or new. I confide it to you, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit” (“The Secret of Mary”, #1). The good news is that when St. Louis decided to teach this secret to others, he quoted this book more than any other. That’s why Montfort Father Jean-Marie Texier wrote… “The writings of this holy priest (Fr. Boudon) charmed the fervent seminarian (St. Louis) in his free time and gave a lively impulse to his momentum toward the good. But none captivated him as much as “The Holy Slavery of the Admirable Mother of God”. It is a rich repertoire from which Montfort drew extensively when he composed his “Treatise on the True Devotion”. One finds, in effect, in the writings of Montfort, the thoughts of Boudon, and sometimes even his expressions.” St. Louis stated he “read nearly all the books which profess to treat of devotion to Our Lady” (True Devotion, #118). His best friend, Fr. Blain, reported that this book was his favorite… “As Louis-Marie devoted a lot of time to spiritual reading, he became familiar with nearly all books dealing with the spiritual life. Those which in my opinion were his favorites were those by the late Fr. Boudon. He would have liked everybody to join the society of the slaves of the Blessed Virgin. The source of this zeal was the book “The Holy Slavery of the Admirable Mother of God” written on this subject by the late Fr. Boudon.” St. Louis emphasized… “Be one of the small number who find the way to life, and enter by the narrow gate into Heaven. Take care not to follow the majority and the common herd, so many of whom are lost. Do not be deceived; there are only two roads: one that leads to life and is narrow; the other that leads to death and is wide. There is no middle way.” St. Louis benefitted tremendously from this book. And you can too. Order “The Holy Slavery of the Admirable Mother of God” today!
