This ready to hang, matted framed art piece features a painting of a purple robot sitting on a stone pedestal in a pensive pose reminiscent of Auguste Rodin's sculpture, "le Penseur" (the thinker). Eric attended the academy of art and the university of san Francisco, and went on to establish himself as a commercial artist, creating illustrations for Mattel toys, Levi's, Microsoft, and Showtime. A member of both san Francisco's and new York's society of illustrators, Joyner is an instructor and speaker at several California institutions. His work has been featured in museums, galleries, and cultural institutions worldwide. An 8x10 giclee print under acrylic in an 11x14 birch wood frame. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating museum quality fine art reproductions. This high quality print is matted using black matting and comes in a birch wood frame.
