The Ten Ryu Captain Nathan Algren Samurai Sword with Silk-Wrapped Handle (model MAZ-021) is a beautifully crafted replica from the movie "The Last Samurai." Hand forged with 1065 high carbon steel in Sinogi Zukui shape, the 41-inch long sword has a 28-inch, 7mm thick, tri-polished mirror finished Shinogi-ji (blade) that is engraved with Japanese horimono, which translates to "Serve with dignity and honor." The Japanese silk wrapped tsuka (or handle) features real ray skin. This katana comes complete with a black lacquer finish scabbard that is also wrapped in matching black cord and a black cotton sword bag. This set also comes with a stand for displaying this showstopper of a sword. This samurai sword comes sharpened so it is not only for display as it can be functional as well.
