About Taytools 469522 4" Double Machinist Engineer Square
This 4 inch 4R double square is the perfect measuring tool for project/part layout, machine set-up, determining level/plumb, or as a depth, height, or marking gauge. This square is used by metal and woodworkers alike. It has a hardened and tempered steel blade with 1/8 and 1/16 markings on one side and 1/32 and 1/64 markings on the reverse. Blade markings are precision laser etched and then black filled for easy readability. The blade is .750" wide by .075" thick. Extra 4 inch bevel blade has a 45 degree bevel on one end and 30 bevel on the other. It has a precision machined and lapped tool steel head. Head is .400" thick, .840" wide and 2.75" tall. The knurled locking knob will securely lock the blade in any position. The square fits perfectly in the hand and in the apron pocket. The fit and finish on these squares is superb.
