Also unique is that the new M1 is the first TaylorMade rescue to ever feature moveable weight technology, as a 27-gram sliding weight allows players to create either a draw, fade, or neutral ball-flight bias. Of note, the original M1 rescue was specifically built as an anti-draw offering, so the ability to produce a draw bias is one of the new features TaylorMade implemented to make the M1 a candidate for a wider range of player. And even though a weight track is now part of the M1 recue design, a Speed Pocket remains to create faster ball speeds from all impact points and to help maintain ball speed on mis-hits. The new M1 still features a smaller profile than the M2 rescue, but a new sole design makes it even more playable from the rough or difficult lies. Additionally, an adjustable aluminum loft sleeve allows loft (+/- 1.5 degrees) and lie angle adjustment to further help golfers dial in their ideal flight conditions.
