The Talboys advanced hot plate is available with a 4 x 4 inch, 7 x 7 inch, or 10 x 10 inch top plate in either white ceramic or aluminum. The cast aluminum top plate provides uniform heat distribution and resistance to chipping, and it has a temperature range of ambient to 400 degrees C. The ceramic top plate provides fast heating and resistance to chemicals and scratches, and it has a temperature range of ambient to 500 degrees C. This hot plate has an LED display and temperature regulation by microprocessor with knob control for consistent, repeatable temperature settings. An internal RTD sensor helps ensure regulation to + or - 2% for aluminum top plates and + or - 3% for ceramic top plates. It includes a built-in holder for support rods (sold separately) that hold temperature probes (sold separately). A hot top indicator helps ensure safe operation, and internal memory recalls the last set temperature. It comes with a 72" power cord and instructions.
