Kit for making your own Summer Sausage or sliceable Beef Stick size sausage. Kit comes with 61mm (2 3/8") Diameter Clear Fibrous casings that are durable yet easy-peeling, US Made ring pliers and plenty of metal casing rings to secure the casing ends when stuffing is complete. Casings are translucent and ideal for smoking, come pre-tied and are looped on one end with strong polyester string to make the process even smoother. They also contain a natural protein-lining inside which binds with meat, this allows them to shrink with meat for long smoking recipes or semi-dry curing sausage. Just soak casings in tepid water for 5 minutes, stuff tight, clip other end securely and hang up for smoking & drying or lay in oven for baking (use drip pan).
