About the Author Lynn Fairweather is an abuse survivor who has specialized in domestic violence response and prevention for nearly 20 years. She operates Presage Consulting and Training, a threat assessment and management firm dedicated to the prevention of intimate partner homicide. Lynn holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Science and a Master's degree in Social Work. She travels the country providing specialized training and consulting for law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, advocates, and private employers on assessing and managing domestic violence cases. Lynn has served on several successful interpersonal violence task forces and response teams, facilitated victim support groups and batterer's intervention programs, and writes professionally on the subject of domestic violence.
