We designed this for our own Ervin the Goldendoodle (in the product pictures) after he was attacked at the canine park and developed severe anxiety when meeting other dogs. We discovered other products on the market didn’t have a soft handle that didn’t hurt our hands when he jumped / twisted in high stress moments. We also live in the north and needed more to grab onto when wearing winter gloves. We found the strongest climbing rope (tested to 700lbs torque pressure) and added reflective threads for safety. Other companies will tell you theirs are machine washable. Although ours can, we can’t guarantee the tough bolt-snap clip won’t damage the washer. We added a water-protective element to the rope so you can just easily wipe it off. The clip is also rust and corrosion resistant. We’ve learned experienced dog owners have a variety of leashes for every situation and our customers have given us many ideas for these, such as having one in each car, at the front door to meet the pizza delivery, and perfect for service animals / seeing eye dog owners.
