About Stick N Repair Cracked Bathtub, Pool Liner And

This is a repair patch. 6" x 12". A high-quality patch. You peel and stick it (see instructions). It's gaudy, it's white, it's not seamless or transparent, but it works and holds up! The gold standard. This patch is perfect for repairing cracked plastic bathtubs and showers. Also pool liners, skylights, plastic and metal holding tanks, vinyl skirting and siding, and other endless uses. A perfect quick fix for broken glass and plexiglass. Made by Eternabond, this patch is UV resistant and won't delaminate or deteriorate in the sun. Works well under water. Instructions: 1. If repair is under water, lower water below the repair area and let dry. 2. Clean area by scuffing with a Scotch-Brite pad then wiping down with denatured alcohol and let dry. Don't skimp on this part. 3. Cut to length and width. Tape should extend at least 2" around the crack. When sealing cracks on the outside of holding tanks, extend at least 3". 4. Peel and stick. 5. Rub the surface aggressively to activate the adhesive. Using a small wallpaper roller is quite effective. 6. Allow the tape 24 hours to fuse before adding water. Other Tips: For a cracked plastic bathtubs, the crack will probably want to continue to run if the bottom is spongy. Drilling a small hole at each end of the crack may help keep it from running. Cover the final repair with a bathmat as glue may continue to seep out of the edges as the tape is being stepped on. Best applied if temperatures are above 50 degrees Fahrenheit. If you've tried repairing liners with glues or other patches and had nothing but frustrations, you'll appreciate this high-quality product. Summer heat notice. If package has been in the outside heat, cool to room temperature otherwise product may be sticky and hard to remove from package.
