The Starrett KMX25061-N 31-Piece Bimetal, Carbide-Tipped, and Cordless Smooth Cut Electrician's Hole Saw Kit includes 14 bi-metal hole saws in diameters 3/4'' to 4-3/4'', eight carbide-tipped hole saws in diameters 3/4'' to 2-1/2'', three smooth cut cordless hole saws in diameters 3/4'' to 1-3/8'', two arbors, two carbide-tipped pilot drills, one arbor adapter, and one ejector spring. A combination of bimetal, carbide-tipped, and smooth cut hole saws make this kit best for cutting through a wide range of materials, including wood, metal, mild sheet steel, thin nonmetallics, PVC , man-made building materials, fiberglass, and plaster board. The bimetal saws have a variable tooth pitch and positive rake angle for efficient cutting and chip evacuation. The carbide-tipped saws have a special tooth set designed for more efficient removal of difficult-to-cut materials than bimetal hole saws. Smooth cut cordless hole saws offer reduced vibration compared to bimetal hole saws for smooth cuts when used on cordless drills.
