About Star Trek Probert Concept U.S.S Enterprise

This ship has been painstakingly recreated in high-quality plastic materials then hand painted with an incredible level of detail. The ship also comes with a full color collector magazine. It measures approximately 4-3/8 inches long by 2-1/2 inches wide by 2-1/2 inches tall while mounted on the included stand. This is a special bonus issue, outside of the standard collection. This fantastic bonus edition is Andrew Probert’s original design for the Ambassador-class U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C. The concept was developed at the beginning of 'STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION’ and is radically different to the version that finally appeared on screen in the third season. This U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C (Probert Design) Starship bonus issue has been brought to life in die-cast metal and high-quality ABS materials. The fully illustrated magazine provides an in-depth profile of Andrew Probert’s original design, plus an article titled “Grand Designs”. This model is part of the Starships Collection of Star Trek vehicles by Eaglemoss. This incredible collection includes all the most significant ships from the five Star Trek television series. Imported from the U.K. with limited distribution in the U.S., these models are not easy to find for sale in the United States.  The collection features a full range of Federation and alien vessels including seven incarnations of the Enterprise; all the major Klingon vessels including the Bird-of-Prey; Dominion; Borg; and Romulan ships and is slated to include about 160 ships in total.
