The Merit Brass stainless steel 304 cast pipe fitting is a 90-degree elbow with female socket weld connections for connecting two pipes and changing flow direction. The socket weld elbow has an internal recess on the inside diameter to allow for a smooth bore and better fluid flow. Made of stainless steel 304, the lower carbon content of this pipe fitting minimizes harmful carbide precipitation during welding, ensuring higher corrosion resistance than 302 grade steel. This line of stainless steel fittings meets standards MSS SP-114, ANSI B1.20.1, and ASTM A351 for quality assurance.
