This Spiceberry Home dutch oven design is inspired by a vintage nabe Design. You'll find it is perfect for and stew or other recipe calling for a dutch oven. It is the ultimate chili pot! This heavyweight cookware is made of cast iron which has been hand cast using a sand mold and coated with a durable enamel finish. Easy to care for since is is not plain cast iron. Tomato based dishes can also be prepared in this pot; something that is not recommended for plain cast iron. Every piece will have slight differences and character that only true handcrafted workmanship will offer. Capacity is 4 quarts to where the lid sits, approximately 5 quarts to the brim. Made in China.
