About Soluna Oval Slipper Copper Bath Tub With Raised Rim
UNIQUE FEATURES Our handcrafted freestanding copper slipper bath tub in natural Matte Copper finish by Soluna makes a perfect addition to bathrooms in traditional design. One of the rims is raised for a dramatic visual effect common to Old World style copper fixtures. Use with wall-mounted or floor-mounted bath tub faucets. Soluna copper tubs come in four 'living' patina finishes: Matte Copper, Café Natural, Rio Grande and Dark Smoke. Matte Copper - raw hammered copper with a bright look of a newly minted penny. No aging is done in the manufacturing process. Café Natural - an evenly colored surface with the look of aged copper. Colors include brown sugar, milk chocolate, mocha, pumpkin pie. Dark Smoke - a dramatic finish resembling oil rubbed bronze. Color hues: black, espresso, dark chocolate with reddish highlights. Rio Grande - a unique finish created in a two-step process. First, Dark Smoke finish is applied. Then the patina is buffed from the ridges of the hammer marks, revealing the look of natural copper. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE TIPS 'Living' patina finish will continue to evolve in look and color over time. Clean our hammered copper tubs with water and mild soap. Rinse after each use. Avoid soaps with citrus extracts as they may cause the copper patina to lighten. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Applying copper polish removes all patina - please use on Matte Copper finish tubs only.
