To pull tomahawk out of the sheath, rotate the end and pull back and down on the tomahawk to release it. To return it to the sheath, put the spike end in first then rotate the head into the sheath. Little dimples within the sheath provide friction fit, and it snaps into place. To ensure it's securely fastened, rotate the secondary clip around. The back of the sheath has a BladeTech Tek-Lok 2.0 latching attachment system, which is held in place by two robust retaining tabs.
