About Smudge Kit: Large Abalone Shell, Wooden Stand

A beautiful large Abalone shell is the perfect place to hold your sage before, during, and after smudging. White sage (Salvia Apiana), also known as sacred sage, is an evergreen perennial native to the Southwestern United States. This potent herb has been used for centuries by Native Americans in rituals of cleansing and healing. Many people continue this tradition today by holding their own Sage Smudging ceremonies. Burn white sage to clear energy and restore balance, for protection and spiritual purification. These California White Sage smudge sticks are grown and packaged in the United States. An elegant, hand-carved wooden tripod stand completes this value priced bundle of our most popular products. This Fantastic bundle includes the following Items: 1 x Beautiful Hand Selected 5" or larger Abalone Shell, 1 x 6" Wooden Cobra Stand, 3 x 4" - 5" California White Sage Smudge Sticks. Rainbowrecords own comprehensive Smudging Directions complete the set. Each Abalone shell is natural and unique so do expect some color and minor size variance from the posted picture. Each Abalone shell is natural and unique so do expect some color and minor size variance from the posted picture - we posted 2 different images so you can see the range of variance. All our abalone shells are super nice retail grade quality, not museum quality. They are real. The backs may have cuts, scrapes, holes, scars and blemishes. If you look at the posted pictures you will see the holes, which are common to 99.99% of these shells. Some of the edges may have an odd small chip. Some have a clear glaze or polished interior to reveal beautiful shades of greens, blues and silver and many other colors, many with some black accents. Black on the inside does not mean the shell has been used - it is a natural coloration in some shells. These shells are perfect for smudging ceremonies and can also burn resins, etc.
