Each socket is designed with a through-hole construction to make it easier to replace worn or broken bits; simply pop the old bit out and insert a new replacement bit. Each socket has a c-clip retention groove in the hex end to provide a secure hold on the bit while in use. The bits are manufactured using high-strength S2 steel for reliable longevity, making this socket set the ideal choice for use in high-torque applications with a ratchet, T-handle, or spinner handle. With the help of an extension or universal joint, the bits can be used in awkward and tight spaces.
