The handwork--the crochet panels and the silk ribbon embroidery--is absolutely exquisite. Even the wrong side of the tablecloth is lovely--the embroidered panels are finished with silky fabric that covers the thread ends from the floral embroidery. Nowhere is there any careless craftwork; nowhere are there any loose ends, or hanging threads. The needlework is nicely done, the flower patterns themselves being slightly raised, and the rose buds are separately sown on (so be careful of things that may yank on them)
