Below-knee prosthetic tube by Silipos Double Cushion BK is a 2-ply sock designed to offer comfortable motion while improving the skin appearance and reducing skin breakdown. The prosthetic sock is constructed using two nylon sheaths with a mineral oil gel lining rich in silver ions and antibacterial ingredients. The gel prosthetic sheath offers double gel thickness at the distal end to provide additional protection to the residual limb. The gel-lined sock reduces friction, shearing, and abrasion between the residual limb and the prosthesis. This easy-to-wash and use latex-free sheath is hypoallergenic and soothes the skin.
