About Siemens 3RT10 16-1AP62 Motor Contactor, 3
The Siemens Sirius line of 3RT1016-1AP62 contactors are suitable for use wherever a 3 pole, IEC, UL and CSA rated 9 AMP contactor is appropriate. This size S00 contactor is used in applications up to 5 horsepower at 460v for three phase applications. Additional auxiliary contacts, up to four poles, can be added on the top or side of the contactor. In addition to auxiliary contact blocks, thermal magnetic or solid state overload relays can be added to these Siemens contactors to provide full motor starter protection in the case of an over amperage situation.
