About Shurtape PC-628 Industrial Grade Gaffers Tape: 2
Shurtape p-628 industrial grade gaffers tape is a vinyl-coated cloth tape available in a wide variety of colors. Application used include color coding, seaming, bundling, and protection. Shurtape p 628 (previously referred to as pc-628) is used in a/V, TV, photography and motion picture industries to hold wiring, lighting and props; and to color Code. It is also used to mask Silk screen frames, as an HVAC line set tape and for protection and book-binding. Benefits of the tape include: waterproof backing; excellent holding power; conformable; durable; excellent weathering features; and very high tensile strength. p 628 would be considered to have shiniest finish of any of the gaffers tapes we sell (it also is a little harder to unwind because of its high adhesion). these rolls come individually shrink-wrapped and are easy to store. For the Converted 10-yard and 15-yard Length rolls they are rewound from p-628 source rolls on to 1-inch diameter unprinted white cores. The p 628 lot # the rolls were rewound from and the date will be noted inside the core. Notes: sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, I.E. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5 percent narrower than the nominal size). this product's actual size is 48mm x 50M.
